Västra Götaland, Sweden
Hindens Rev is a narrow peninsula extending into Lake Vänern, Sweden’s largest lake. The spot is known for its flat, shallow water and reliable westerly winds in summer. The area is scenic and peaceful, with forests and rocky shores. Kitesurfers launch from the gravel beach at the base of the peninsula. The spot is accessible by car from Lidköping, with parking at the shore. Facilities are basic, but the area is popular with local Swedish kiters in summer.
